How excited am I to start on my new website and re-brand my private practice from Positive Soulutions Counselling to Heart and Soul Counselling!
Re-branding & re-inventing has a lot to do with one cloudy afternoon… as I sat, (which doesn’t normally happen) with a cup of tea on my red couch at home, I had a calling to just reflect on this thought – “Who am I?”
The call was so strong that I had to quickly get a pen and write in my journal the answer to this question. I was forced to dig deep through the walls of my secured heart, and examine the things I had hidden away for a very long time. It was a process of excruciating transformation, but I am so thankful that by grace, each day, I encounter something new and I stand in humility knowing that I am coming from a place of brokenness and that the embers of the ashes are turning into beauty.
Identity has been a very big part of this re-branding. It is my hope and desire that through creating a space of safe, non-judgmental blogs/forums/articles that I post, that not only inspiration and encouragement can be gained but also hope and clarity, where tears can turn to laughter as you share your experiences and find answers to your missing pieces. After all, any issues we have are always a matter of the heart and soul. I want my journey to be an encouragement and a platform where I can talk openly and honestly about the things that we don’t normally want to.
I want Heart and Soul to be raw and vulnerable. I have had my fair share of struggles and I never want to keep what I have learnt and still am learning, to myself. I want to genuinely walk and journey with people. I want to help clients discover the missing parts & to unlock answers within them. I hope my vulnerability can inspire you to take your Next Steps in making a choice to seek help. No one should never stand alone.
